About Us

Established in November, 2011, as a subsidiary of Frontiers Alliance Communications Limited, FRONTIERSNEWS Online began publishing in December 2011 with the aim of becoming a leading online medium in Africa.

Our desire is to be ahead of others with the most credible, investigative and reliable news reports. FRONTIERSNEWS shall strive, at all times, to unveil the truth in a society where truth is fast becoming the exclusive preserve of the few.

Our pledge to the Nigeria and Africa people is to always present issues that will, to a large extent, protect their interests and also present public policies and programmes as they affect them.

As an online medium, we are determined to offer constructive criticism, at the individual, institutional and governmental levels, especially on issues that border on the interests of the ordinary people and offer alternative solutions.

Objective:

With the historic passage of the long overdue Freedom of Information Bill into law, the journalism horizon has further been widened.

And in attempt to join the national debate on the gaping divide between the government and the governed, the FRONTIERSNEWS intends to expand the limit of the social contract by unveiling the truth in all matters and at all times.

Mission:

In unveiling the truth, as the limit of the national and international socio-economic and political values of our people continue to expand, the FRONTIERSNEWS would continue to provide a platform for the cross fertilisation of ideas that promote the human race, environment and free society as well as the rights of the minority. Our goal is to be fair to all and promote the principles of justice and constitutionalism.

This we hope to do without allegiance to any individual, political parties, ethnic groups, religious organisations, government agencies and other interest groups in any part of the world.

FRONTIERSNEWS therefore joins the ongoing healthy competition in the media industry with a desire to become an African best online news platform through the defense of Nigeria and Africa's unity and the well-being of her peoples.
