FG Declares Oct. 6, 7 Sallah Public Holidays

delta_muslims_fpThe Federal Government on Friday declared Monday, October 6 and Tuesday, October 7 as public holiday to mark this year’s Eid El-Kabir Celebration.

The Minister of Interior, Comrade Abba Moro, who made this known on behalf of the Federal Government of Nigeria, congratulated the Muslim Faithful and enjoined them to support, co-operate and join hands with President Goodluck Jonathan, in his sustained efforts to building a peaceful, united and virile nation.

Moro further urged all Nigerians to use this occasion of the Sallah Celebration to pray for peace and unity across the nation.

The Minister wishes all Nigerians a most rewarding and happy id-el-Kabir Celebration.
